Individual therapy can help you treat mental, emotional, physical, and behavioral issues. Individual therapy can also help you learn how to deal with negative emotions, thoughts, and feelings. This is a one-on-one mental health treatment that is personalized to suit an individual's unique needs. It also involves setting therapeutic goals, processing one's past, and learning how to manage one's symptoms or triggers to live a healthier life. Individual sessions often last from 45 to 60 minutes. Some types of treatment that may be discussed in therapy include but are not limited to Anxiety, Stress, Anger, Addiction, Abuse, Insomnia, Trauma, Relationship or marriage challenges, and sexuality.
